Amro graduated from the University of Dundee with a BDS degree in 2011. He moved to Aberdeen and worked as a Vocational Trainee and then as a Dental Associate here at Grandholm Dental Clinic. In 2017 Amro started training new graduates in General Practice as a Dental Vocational Trainer.

Amro has a special interest in Public Health and he completed a MSc in Dental Public Health at the University of Manchester, graduating with Merit in 2018. In early 2019 he was appointed as the Dental Practice Adviser to NHS Grampian, a role which he carries out two days a week, alongside his clinic role. He is also a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. Amro enjoys providing all aspects of General Dental Services, and is particularly keen on fostering a preventive approach to dental care.
